My review is up for Wolf 359's new play, Evanston: A Rare Comedy. Check it out.
Man, that's a really good play. It's probably kismet that I reviewed it because:
A.) It touches that special place in me that only Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman touches, and...
B.) I was actually writing a play about an all-female book club meeting that ends in violence. I kid you not! Obviously, I'm putting mine to bed.
It's the first play I've seen since Taylor Mac's Okay that I felt so connected to whilst simultaneously being super jealous that I didn't write it first. My congratulations and admiration to the cast and crew!
Speaking of theater and awesome plays, I hope you're coming to see my play, Up With (Some) People, compete in the Samuel French Festival on Sunday! Buy your tickets here. My show is on Sunday the 19th at 2:30 PM.
